Firm owner Jake Weber graduated from Illinois State University with a Masters of Professional Accountancy. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas, is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

​Jake started his career with a ‘Big 4’ public accounting firm before making the move to a local CPA firm. Through this experience of working for a local firm Jake realized that his skill set and passion was to work closely with individuals and small business owners to help them achieve their financial goals and meet their tax and accounting needs. After a short stint working in the oil & gas industry, Jake decided it was time to pursue his dream of starting his own local CPA firm. As a result, Weber CPA LLC was formed in the fall of 2013.

​When Jake is not busy handling your needs, you can find him spending time with his wife of eleven years, Jennifer, and his three children, Kylie Jo, Lila and Dustin. Spending time as a family is one of Jake’s greatest joys in life. Jake also enjoys doing almost anything active. Jake’s entire family is heavily involved in their community through their church, Church at the Crossing in Aledo, Texas which helps them to live out their faith on a daily basis.

​Also in case you were wondering, the tree in our logo is inspired from Jeremiah 17:7-8.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
